We are on the verge of a new phase of the Sankirtan movement, embracing our individual responsibility for personal purity. We are feeling the urgent need for shelter and rejuvenation. Lord Narasimhadeva desires all to come together on His appearance day. Please join us in Global Prayer this Nrsimha Caturdasi, in the first annual Pray Like Prahlada Celebration!
Devotees from around the world are celebrating the most auspicious and powerful appearance day of Lord Nrsimhadeva in Sridhama Mayapur on May 24th 2013.
We invite you to gather with us, the second and third generation devotees, to unite our Hare Krishna family and organize events in your local area, to bring together all devotees in powerful transformation through the exemplary prayers of Prahlada Maharaja.
Our prayer ceremony will follow this recipe:
• 12 hr kirtan
– interspersed with reading of the prayers of Prahlada, Srimad Bhagavatam canto 7, chapter 9: “Prahlada Pacifies Lord Nrisimhadeva with Prayers”
– as well as a very short prayer, that each individual should say as they pass the Bhagavatam around to read that 9th chapter. The purpose of this particular prayer is to make it real, an action item, for each person.
“My Dear Lord, may I see myself as I truly am, so that I may one day see You as you truly are. Please purify me, and engage me in your service.”
(People can pass a microphone around with this print out, and the Bhagavatam.)
• Darshan Arati of Lord Nrsimhadeva at Dusk 
– as we have prepared our hearts for transformation by absorbing the mood of Prahalada Maharaja, we pray that He please manifest before us in His most terrific transcendental form, and cleanse our hearts so we can always remember and serve Him.
